Project
Walmart Square
This layout expands the building to allow for a more dynamic visual elements, balancing the Walmart services with the tenants. Protruding into the space is an axis that divides Walmart and tenant areas, and call attention to the .com services. A major element of this design is an intermediate entry which allows customer to access .com services as well as tenants more directly. Tenants are allowed to build there own identity to maximize their own brand identity. The lease line is allowed to be extended 12 inches into the walk are for architectural elements to match the tenants desire to add definition to the space and to add visual interest.

Discovery
An exhaustive research and gathering of all pertinent data, images, and ideas that are collected and distilled down to a simple but thought provoking set of criteria by which the design will be judged.

Vision
Since Pharmacy and Vision Center have been moved to the opposite side of the GM entry, architectural and sign elements have been added to visually connect them to the other Walmart Services on the 4th Wall. The diagonal lines of the bulkhead radiate out from the center of the store where Customer Service and Walmart.com Services are located.

Services
The Customer Service area is more centerally located in the store, and is flanked on both sides by Walmart.com Services. This give great exposure to both types of services and brings them together in a convenient location.

Tenants
Retailers that require more space for sales or seating have the option to extend their space out to allow for flexibility and more exposure to store traffic.

Inviting
Exposure from both entrances is improved as design elements “overlap” adjacent spaces drawing you into the area , creating a more inviting and inclusive feel .
